Hello. I hope you’ll join me this autumn and return to Bluestar Island for the second book in this small-town series, HARVEST DANCE. I have to admit that when I started writing the book, I had no idea where it was headed. So there were some surprises along the way. I just love when that happens.
A lot of times life doesn’t go the way you imagined. And sometimes when when the worst thing happens, it’s a struggle to reimagine a new and different future. That’s the case for my heroine, Aster Smith, who has to flee her California home and start over in Bluestar. As the story opens, she’s finds that she has to reinvent herself and she isn’t sure what this new chapter will look like.
Sometimes happily-ever-after can end abruptly. That was the case for the farmer hero, Sam Bell, who lost his wife in accident. Now he is a single-parent to his seven-year-old daughter and he’s struggling to manage everything on his own. And now that his babysitter is off to college, he’s searching for a new babysitter.
Join these two as they learn to overcome their tragic pasts and forge a happy future together. And did I mention that Dash, the adorable miniature goat, is back and creating havoc for everyone.

In the lingering rays of a Bluestar Island sunset, Sam and Aster find themselves dancing upon the sand. As they help each other heal, the possibility of a future together becomes tangible. But will the ghosts from their pasts extinguish this budding romance?
