We're launching the Book Tour for DAWNKING by Janalyn Voigt! #DawnKingTour

On Tour with Prism Book Tours

Note from the Author

I’m so glad you stopped by the tour for DawnKing. I’m Janalyn Voigt, a storyteller who counts fantasy as one of my genres. Tales of Faeraven fills a gap for medieval epic fantasy readers. While many books have been written about dragons, winged horses have not received the same attention. This wasn’t acceptable to me.

My childhood dream of flying like Dumbo the elephant had long ago advanced into a love for winged horses. In Tales of Faeraven, I do my best to give readers the sensation of flying on a ‘wingabeast,’ one of the elusive winged horses of Faeraven. My books are escapist reading but contain deeper layers. The allegory inserted itself naturally. I didn’t discover some of it myself until after the books appeared in print. I focus on writing wholesome stories that can hold their own beside more secular offerings. Readers I meet seem to instinctively want the messages of honor, self-sacrifice, and courage within DawnKing and the other Tales of Faeraven Books.

DawnKing is the fourth book in the series and wraps up many story threads from earlier books. It can be read as part of the series for a fuller experience or read as a stand-alone. Following the stops on this blog tour will offer you glimpse into the lives of engaging characters within a vivid storyworld.

  1. My favorite thing about reading fantasy is all the different worlds there are.

  2. I feel honor is lacking in today's society and I like reading about those times when it was deemed and important trait. Fantasy lets one escape the often difficult reality,at least for a brief time.
